The purity of White precast
The Church of later day saints took a leap of faith adopting for the first time globally, White precast concrete for the combined structure and architectural finishing of the new David O’McKay Stake centre in Temple View – Waikato.
Monarc’s Mascarpone white concrete finished with a lustrous diamond honed finish provides both the internal and external surfaces of the Centre. impressed by the finish the church welcomed the concrete into chapel and the sacred inner sanctum of the rostrum, and the grand spire overseeing the local community and the landscaped lakeside gardens and glen.
The Precast units were further accentuated with monarc cuts to provide a stacked stone effect from the surfaces and return edges of the precast panels providing continuity and further aesthetic value.
Selecting a structural medium that provides natural finished aesthetics provided the client with term of life value, Reducing ongoing cleaning and maintenance costs and gave a classic timeless compliment to other building materials.
