Helipad Carpark Raft Slab

The Helipad Car Park raft slab extension construction was a design and build project for Kalmar Construction Ltd. The supply and placing of the reinforcing was competitively tendered in the market and won by Nauhria.

Rakesh Nauhria and his team of Detailers, Fabricators and Placers quickly summarised the requirements of their work in terms of detailing compliance with the Engineers specification and New Zealand Building Code, programme and buildability. Subsequent meetings with the placing team and agreement on deliveries lead to the very successful supply and installation of approximately 70t of reinforcing in 2 and half weeks.
